Welcome! Obviously, I’m in need of some sort of fresh start and I’ve never been much of a resolution keeper maker. I’ve been working on moving the blog over here for several reasons, one of which is that Blogger irritated me one too many times, and WordPress has great features (and I like to support the underdog!). Also, I have never been that excited about the title of the old blog; it was something I chose quickly after several other names I wanted were already being used (I never said I was that original, did I?) and it just never felt right to me. Back then I was so completely clueless that I thought I could go in and set up my blog and make it all smart and pretty before I chose the name or that I could go back later and change it or something. I was on maternity leave with Evan at the time, and procrastinated and procrastinated until I only had like a day left before I went back to work and crazily I thought I’d never have time to blog while I was working. Again, another clue to my cluelessness. I had way more time for internet surfing while working full-time than I do now, staying home with three little boys.
So, whatever. Here it is and here I am. It’s taken me a little while to get this up and running and it most certainly is and always will be a work in progress. I hope you all will update your bookmarks and links and continue reading and commenting. Let me know when you get here!

Love it. I can totally understand the haphazard name choosing and the blogger frustration. You can move your old posts over (or at least I know others who have made the jump and did that). Anyway…

Such a cool new layout and design – you so totally rock the cazbah. thanks again for the wedding books…but i have a little bit of bad news, about 1/4″ thickness of one of the corners of the martha stewart book got wet on the porch that day…I’ve dried it out but the pages are wrinkly – I’ll get you another to replace it
